I started my business in 2000, as a Virtual Assistant (Executive Business Solutions). In 2008, I became a certified Master Virtual Assistant (MVA) and my previous business Executive Business Solutions was recognised as a Certified Australian Virtual Business (CAVB). I wouldn’t have had ongoing clients or clients referring me to others if I didn’t know my stuff.
Over the years, I assisted colleagues with their clients’ websites, mainly updating content, adding images, and found that I loved this type of work. So, I decided to gain more knowledge and complete courses in web design and development.
In 2014, I decided to rebrand my business to concentrate more on what I love to do, website design. Website design has been a passion of mine for many years now, and I love helping small businesses with their website design projects.
Although I now concentrate more on website design, I still have clients that need VA services, and I will keep going with that, after all it’s where I began and it’s part of my life, and I still like the variety it brings.
I love to learn new things and am always reading and studying so my skills are up to date and my knowledge of WordPress and coding is up there with the best of them.
I also love to read novels and at the moment my favourite author is Wilbur Smith. I love anything to do with ancient Egypt. My house is full of ancient Egyptian papyrus and statues (hubby doesn’t have much of a say in this but luckily, he doesn’t mind it). I even went to Egypt in 2000 for 10 days and loved it. I love to travel and in 2000 also travelled to Europe, America and the UK for over 3 months and it was the best experience I’d ever had.
